Hi everyone out there!
I can't believe it's already August! I have a few new things to update you all with so I thought I'd get it out there
Metrocon went fantastically ^0^ I had a great time seeing fans and fellow artists at the con. Even though I didn't have as much stock as I usually do, it was amazing getting to see your reactions to my creations. I hope I can outdo myself next year!
To my chagrin, I haven't been as active art-wise this year as I wished to be, but it's all been for good cause, I swear! Since late last year I've been writing several books for my publisher, Fox Chapel Publishing. I told you all about Bling it Up! already, but I have quite a few more coming out in the next few months, so I'll let you know about them in the future With most of that out of the way, I'm now focusing on getting my blog to look less vacant too. I hope to be back with more posts about crazy new things I've made in the coming weeks!
The next update I have is about my next kiriban celebration! Thanks to you guys, I'm really close to a nice pageview milestone Once I hit it I'll be holding another giveaway for another crazy item like the one I held 2 months ago. Here's what the figures look like:
DeviantArt pageviews: 115,666/123,456 = 94%
DeviantArt watchers: 4,286/5,000 = 86%
Facebook likes: 1,405/2,000 = 70%
Tumblr followers: 752/1,000 = 75%
Wordpress followers: 1,288/2,000 = 64%
And the last update I have concerns the Monthly Crafting Challenge I've got going on at my blog. If you sign up for email updates to my blog during this month, I'll send a free sewing pattern your way, namely this little guy:
You can also earn patterns by sending me photos of your finished creations. So if you're interested in cute plush patterns I hope you'll give it a try! For August it's this little square watermelon plush with matching basket.
Hopefully if nothing else gets in my way you'll be seeing more updates from me soon! >w<

Catching up!
Hello everyone! Long time no post :/ It's been a busier than usual year for me because I finally got married to my long-time boyfriend and we went to Japan! ♥
So while I've been very active elsewhere, DeviantArt sort of fell by the wayside.
I hated to let that happen since I got my start here, so there's nothing left to do but catch up! You should be seeing a lot of posts from me until I'm caught up with my current projects elsewhere. So if you follow me on any other social media you will see a lot of older stuff showing up here.
Please bear with me, and thank you!
Spooky Halloween Plush Sewing Contest!
Hey all! I’m running another contest to celebrate the Halloween season :) You can find all the details on my main site:
https://cholyknight.com/…/21/spooky-halloween-plush-contest/
If you use my patterns to make spooky-themed plushies, you could place in one of 18 winning spots! The grand and second prize feature a fabric bonus, but all of the prizes offer free patterns – particularly my new chibi horror collection. In it is the highly-requested zombunny plush as well as 4 other fun spooky animals!
You can even submit projects you’ve made in the past :) I hope you all will give it a try!
MCC Send-off Pattern Giveaway
Since I had a lot of people say they didn't have time to enter my sewing contest, I wanted to give one more (equal) chance for everyone to get some extra goodies So this week I'm collecting entries for a giveaway! No work required, just an email address
https://cholyknight.com/2017/03/07/mcc-giveaway/
I'll be selecting 5 winners; 1st place gets 5 patterns of their choice (any price), 2nd place gets 4, 3rd gets 3, and so on
Last Weekend for Contest!
I can't believe it's already been a month since I started my sewing contest!
I just wanted to let you all know that this is the last weekend for it :) Sunday, just before midnight (EST) I'll be closing up submissions. Then the winners will likely be announced Monday afternoon so I have the morning to deliberate ♥ I've received hundreds of submissions, so thank you to everyone who's sent something in :D It's been so much fun looking through them all!
